Former Ambassador of Ukraine to the US and France Oleh Shamshur warns that the ‘security of Europe is being decided in Ukraine and all European institutions’ are at stake. Ambassador Shamshur asserts that there can be no capitulation to Russia for a lasting peace, it will require “exerting pressure on Putin to create a necessary and favorable negotiating position for Ukraine and its European partners.”
